This Privacy Policy describes how Glowback Holdings LLC ("Glowback," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Glowback mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service").

Glowback is an AI-assisted food tracking tool. It is not medical, nutritional, or professional advice.

By using the Service, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Glowback Holdings LLC is a Delaware limited liability company. Our contact information is in Section 14.

We collect the following categories of information.

Account information: email address, password (stored as a salted hash), and optional display name.

Profile information: age, height, weight, and any goals, dietary preferences, or allergies you choose to enter.

Food log content: photos of food you submit, voice recordings you submit, text descriptions you type, and barcodes you scan.

Pantry and inventory information you enter.

Optional calendar context you choose to share with the Service.

Communications you send to us, including support requests and survey responses.

Device information: device model, operating system, app version, language, time zone, IP address, and crash logs.

Usage information: features you use, screens you view, and aggregated session data.

Cookies and similar technologies on our website only. The mobile app does not use third-party advertising cookies.

Sign-in information from Apple, Google, or other identity providers if you choose to use them.

Payment information processed by our payment processor when paid plans launch. We do not store full payment card numbers.

We do not knowingly collect precise geolocation data. We do not collect biometric identifiers other than information voluntarily submitted in food photos or voice recordings.

We use information to provide and operate the Service, including generating AI-assisted estimates from your food log entries; personalize the Service to your preferences and goals; communicate with you about your account, updates, and support; improve the Service, including by analyzing aggregate usage trends; detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents; and comply with legal obligations.

Glowback uses third-party large language model providers and image recognition services to generate estimates from your food log entries. The in-app AI assistant is called "Glow." When you submit a photo, voice note, or text description, the content is transmitted to our AI sub-processors for processing. Our sub-processors are contractually prohibited from using your content to train their general models. AI output is an estimate, not a medical or nutritional recommendation, and may be inaccurate.

We may use de-identified or aggregated data derived from your usage to improve our own models and the Service.

We do not sell your personal information.

We share information only as follows: with service providers and sub-processors who help us operate the Service (hosting, AI processing, analytics, email delivery, payment processing, error monitoring), all bound by contract to use information only to provide services to us; for legal compliance, when required by law, subpoena, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Glowback, our users, or others; in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case your information may be transferred and we will notify you; and with your consent for any other sharing.

We retain your account and food log information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal, accounting, or security reasons. De-identified or aggregated data may be retained indefinitely.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access a copy of the personal information we hold about you, correct inaccurate information, request deletion, request a portable copy of your data, and opt out of sale or sharing. Glowback does not sell personal information.

California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

The Service is for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected information from a person under 18, we will delete it.

We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

The Service is offered in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.

The Service may include links to or integrations with third-party services. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those services. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the Service or by email. The "Last Updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.

A current list of our sub-processors is available at our website and includes categories such as cloud hosting, AI model providers, analytics, email delivery, and crash reporting. Specific vendor list to be confirmed before launch.
